Avid Unity Media Services are digital workflow tools that
manage, move, or transform media. Media Services allow many
tasks currently performed serially to be done in parallel,
freeing expensive talent and equipment from nonproductive
or non-revenue-producing activities, thus providing a smoother,
faster, and more cost-effective workflow. The full suite of

MediaManager is a powerful media asset management application

is tightly integrated with Avid applications and other productivity
tools and offers exceptional functionality and value. It
is available as an option for Avid Unity MediaNet networks.

Unity ProEncode v1.7
Translation of media into Web formats is an important way
to create additional revenue, leverage media resources,
and meet customer needs. By simply invoking the "Send
to ProEncode" function and selecting the desired formats,
the Avid Unity ProEncode tool completes media encoding or
transcoding tasks in the background, allowing creative applications
and talent to work in -parallel with this revenue-generating
activity.

Unity TransferManager v2.0
Avid Unity TransferManager easily moves media files between
desktops or in the background (with a dedicated server).
When used with an Avid Unity MediaNet network and MediaManager,
moving media within your facility - or across an ocean -
is as simple as drag-and-drop. In broadcast news environments,
Avid Unity TransferManager works with ingest and playout
servers including Avid AirSPACE and Grass Valley Group Profile,
so editing can continue on one story while another is being
transferred.
