The AJ-SDX900 DVCPRO Cinema Camera is built with  CineSwitchTM Technology.  It has multi-format capbilities, enabling the operator to record in 24P, 20P and 60i.

The AJ-SDX900 features 2/3" 3-CCD, and records in 16:9 aspect ratio.

The AJ-SDX900 also runs CineGammaTM Software, which emulates film's gradual transfer function performance.  This function greatly increases the camera's usable dynamic range, especially in traditionally limiting areas such as highlight handling.  Cinematographers are able through the CineGamma feature to control the camera's gamma transfer function to best optimize control over tonality, from extreme highlights to the lowest of shadow areas.
