Employment Training Panel (ETP) State Subsidized Training
The State of California's ETP Program reduces the cost of courses, for those companies and employees that qualify, in order to ensure that California's workforce remains competitive. Essentially, the ETP program covers the majority of the training fees, while the participating company covers a much smaller portion. Fee reduction for ETP Program participants can be as great as 75%. To determine if you and your company meet the State of California's requirements, please visit our ETP page.
California companies that engage in any facet of the entertainment industry may be eligible, and must be first approved by the state. For more information, please visit our ETP page.
It is the responsibility of each student enrolled in the ETP Program to attend all courses as selected and scheduled on his or her ETP Scheduler. Failure to complete all enrolled courses will result in being responsible for full course fees (at the published catalog rate) for all enrolled courses, meaning those that were completed as well as those that were not completed.
Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Training
ACSR stands for Avid Certified Support Representative.
ACSR program participants are trained and certified on the knowledge and skills necessary to perform installations, upgrades, diagnostics, troubleshooting and supporting in a workgroup production or broadcast environment. This multi-certification program is designed to ensure the highest level of technical proficiency and provide a deeper comprehension of the capabilities of Avid products.
Moviola is the only facility in the US other than Avid's Massachusetts headquarters that provides training and testing for Avid Certified Support Representatives.
For more information on becoming certified or re-certified as an ACSR, please visit our ACSR page.
Avid certifies ACSR's for a period of one year. To maintain an active ACSR status, program participants must complete ACSR re-certification courses to sustain current system knowledge and get a passing grade on the re-certification exam. For more information on re-certification, please visit our ACSR page.
